Terms of use

Every report is written by a user. We do not investigate, verify or endorse any report, and a report is not a finding that anyone did anything wrong. Treat reports as one person's account, and use your own judgement.

The site is not a credit bureau or consumer reporting agency, and reports must not be used to decide eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or similar. It is not legal advice.

You confirm, every time you post, that:

• the report is true and based on your own direct experience of work you actually did;
• it sticks to facts (what was agreed, what was done, what is unpaid) and does not exaggerate;
• you have the right to upload any photos or videos you attach;
• every report includes at least one photo or video of real supporting evidence, such as the invoice, messages with the client, or the finished work.

You must not post:

• threats, abuse, harassment or anything meant to intimidate;
• anyone's ethnicity, religion, health, family or other personal characteristics;
• phone numbers, email addresses, or details about children or other people at the property;
• reports about a property you did not work at, or that you know to be false or already settled.

You are responsible for what you post and may be legally liable for it. False or misleading reports can expose you to defamation claims. If you are paid or the matter is resolved, withdraw your report using your private edit link.

You can post a public response on the report's page, and you can ask us to remove a report. See how to respond or request removal.

Every new report, and every edit to a report, is reviewed before it is shown, and we may decline to publish it. We may also edit, hide or remove any report or response at any time and for any reason, including if it looks false, unverifiable, abusive or settled, or if it is reported by several visitors. We are not obliged to keep any content up, and we do not promise to review every report.

When you post, you get a private link that lets you edit or withdraw your report. Anyone who has the link can do the same, so keep it private. We cannot recover a lost link, but you can contact us.

The site and everything on it is provided "as is", with no promise that it is accurate, complete or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reports, from your use of the site, or from decisions made using it. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
